Better balm than medications are the wonders of God's good creation - A missive from the shadows of reality

Saw the hawk soaring very close the ground, almost strafing, over our garden, so I dashed out. Didn't see the hawk, but noticed the way the sun was doing interesting things with my shadow. This seemed so very apt to post... how many times can I say the same things about the same sensations? There's not been any news in months.Besides, most people can't possibly understand this... though I will grant that its possible for the exceptionally compassionate or those with fined tuned sensitivities, as I have found that being in inexorable unremitting pain is EXACTLY like what I thought it would be. I've not learned a thing from this I didn't know.Tess is always amazed when we take our nature walks that I notice things which are there which 1000 other people would pass by without stopping, without looking, without seeing, without BEing.Yeh well, I'm tall too... I take as much credit for noticing different things as I do for my height. I've always been this way, its not like I decided to see out the unusual and the different, I've just always naturally tuned into them.I know why this is in terms of how my mind and eye work together... I have an innate sense for patterns, so anything which diverges from them- no matter how little, no matter how seemingly inconsequential- GRABS my attention as if it had neon lights flashing and a horn blasting.
