"His eye is on the sparrow" has taken over my walgreen's sparrow project

Its always an adventure when you're a "Daoist" artist, when you believe your role is to reveal or express art, truth, or beauty, not create them.

I sat down this morning to assemble clips of a sparrow's nest in a Walgreen's sign.

So I searched for "sparrow" on archive.org

When I came across this song, it totally took over the project.

Ethel Waters' version is considered the definitive, and very well so.

As a result... I don't know when you'll see the cute birds in the Walgreen's Photo Sign, but when you do, it'll be matched perfectly to this music.

For more on this song, see this entry in the Wiki.

It could even develop into my first video "Scripture Picture."
